BCP members can post rides on the email list, in addition to those in the regular schedule as published in the QR newsletter.
To make these late rides available to a wider audience, we attempt to include them on the website, in the regular ride listings.
The Adhoc/Add-on Rides will be inserted into the ride list by Friday evening, time permitting. They are for the current, calendar week only.
Please understand the following
Q. Why do I have to use this form? Why not just post it to the mailing list and
have you put it on the website?
A. While it would be nice to have it that simple, we don't currently
have a way to do that. Use of
the form allows the ride to be submitted with a uniform "header".
That facilitates the manual placement
on the website, and counting how many rides people list.
Q. Does that mean I MUST use the webform to get it on the website?
A. Yes.
Q. Does that mean it's placed on the web automatically?
A. No, the webmaster has to manually transfer the rides. And we also need to
monitor what is on the website.
Q. When do I have to send it in via the webform to assure it's on the
website?
A. Sending it in by Thursday evening should do it. There actually are no
assurances.
