Charitable Contributions
The BCP Board has recently determined the club's 2012 charitable contributions and/or
memberships to various bike related organizations that benefit the biking community in
general and our members. To view the allocation, please first log in, and then click
the Resources Link
in the Member Access menu.
Calling Clear is Now Prohibited
Each rider is personally responsible for verifying
that the way is indeed clear.
Ride Calendar Enhancements
We’ve made a number of enhancements to our daily and weekly ride calendars. For daily ride descriptions, we've
added 1) an optional On-line route map - a link to a site with a map to view and/or download the route, and 2) maps
and/or addresses of regular start locations. If you submit recurring weekly rides,
click here for details on the improvements made to that process.
Bike Shop Discounts
Discounts at participating bike shops are available to BCP members upon
showing the membership card (located on the last page of their most recent QR). Certain bike shops can
also check online whether a customer actually is a BCP member (encourage them to contact the club if
they don't have this feature).
Award Announcement
We are proud to announce that the Bicycle Club of Philadelphia has been named
the 2009 winner of Philadelphia Magazine's Best of Philly award for Intramural Sport.
Mailing List
The club sponsors an email list/list-serve. It contains the latest ride information and is where you can exchange
experiences and information about biking.
