BCP offers many regularly scheduled weekly rides.     Sun September 19, 2021 - Toss of the Dice 2.0 - SUNDAY this week - Doylestown

    Level C+: 14mph, 35-80 miles. Meet at Azalea Garden's formal entrance, behind the Art Museum. The ride leaves at 8:15 am. Various friendly rides per DAILY RIDE CALENDAR departing FROM THE PARKING ATTENDANT BOOTH at specified time and ranging 35-80 miles. We will regroup as needed, but riders are expected to ride group pace. Bring food or money for snack along the way, as well as a spare tube, tire irons and multi-tool. Check daily listing for route information. Ride may be cancelled up to 1 hour prior to departure time. Please be familiar with the Bicycle Club of Philadelphia Rider Guidelines for COVID-19 Mitigation, and bring a mask for the rest stop. Preregistration required.     Sun September 19, 2021 - Sunny Sunday D Ride

    Level D: 9-12mph, 12-24 miles. Meet at Azalea Garden's formal entrance, behind the Art Museum. The ride leaves at 12:00 pm. OWLS (Older, Wiser, Longer, Slower) paced ride through Fairmount Park and beyond. This ride is for new and experienced riders looking for shorter distances, however, there might be a nice hill or two to help gain endurance. Depending on who comes on the ride, there might be a short period of time learning an essential biking skill. Please wear helmut and mask (required by the club). Please bring extra tube, water, sunscreen, $ for mid ride snack stop. Preregistration is required, please preregister by Sunday, September 19, 2021 at 12:00 pm.

    Levels C: 12mph, 35-50 miles. Meet at Azalea Garden's formal entrance, behind the Art Museum. The ride leaves at 12:15 pm. True C ride which cheerfully waits to regroup. Some climbing required. Covid restrictions in effect. Wear a mask for meet up and lunch or snack stop. No ride if rain or icy roads at start or 50 percent or more chance of rain during the ride. Pre-registration is not required but greatly preferred. It is optional, but you may preregister until Sunday, September 19, 2021 at 11:00 am.

    Level D: 10-11mph, 26 miles. Meet at Cosmic Cafe, Lloyd Hall, # 1 Boathouse Row, Kelly Dr, East Fairmount Park . The ride leaves at 10:00 am. Ride out and back on theSRT- enjoy a pastry and a coffee at the Feine cafe.. If the SRT is closed in Manayunk, we'll take Umbria to Shawmont and then rejoin the SRT. Possible added loop on Manayunk bridge and thru Laurel Hills cemetery. If KYW says rain outside studio one hour prior to start cancel ride.     Mon September 20, 2021 - Delightful, Delicious D (& D+/C-) Ride, Monday Evening Edition, Starting Earlier at 5:15, due to Shorter Daylight. Alternate Meeting Point, due to storm damage at UDHS and Township Bldg

    Level C- through D: 10-11.5mph, 15-22 miles. Meet at Upper Dublin Public Library. The ride leaves at 5:15 pm. Starts 5:15 now. Scheduled for most Monday evenings throughout summer. Gently paced, post-work evening ride to pedal away the day's stresses, suited for novice riders, newcomers to the area, and/or anyone seeking a low-intensity, relaxed, recovery ride. Cycle peaceful roads in Eastern Mont Co. Mileage will depend on the length of evening daylight. Please bring lights in case we are delayed on our return. Toward the end of the season (mid-September), this ride will need to leave earlier, due to evening daylight ending earlier. ALTERNATIVE MEETING POINT, due to long-term storm damage at UDHS and Township Bldg. Meet at the new Upper Dublin Public Library, 520 Virginia Drive. Parking in rear lot. Meet at picnic tables at front entrance. Cue sheets will not be available. It is optional, but you may preregister until Monday, September 20, 2021 at 4:00 pm.

    Mon September 20, 2021 - COS (Church of the Savior) Monday Multi-Level Group Rides, Wayne, PA

    Level A through D: 10-18.5mph, 20-35 miles. Meet at Church of the Saviour, Wayne, PA. The ride leaves at 6:00 pm. WE'RE BACK!!!!!!!! Come ride with the largest evening cycling group in the Delaware Valley Ride Level: D thru A This ride is cross listed at the SCU Meetup site. COVID-19 Protocols are still in effect. Please review these on BCP websites. We have experienced ride leaders and sweep riders so no one gets lost! We do not ride on holidays that fall on a Monday ( Memorial Day, Labor Day, etc.). Rain cancels the ride but look at Meetup or here for last minute updates when weather is questionable. Cue sheets will not be available.

    Levels A-/B+: 16-17mph, B-: 13.5-14.5mph, C+: 12-13mph, 35-50 miles. Start location to be determined. The ride leaves at 9:30 am. Bring yer bike & sense of adventure. Sometimes we'll ride familiar routes, sometimes new ones. Expect good company on safe/low trafficked roads. Lunch stops may be sit down, takeout, or in a park (bring a sandwich/snack).     Level C- through D: 10-11.5mph, 15-30 miles. Meet at Glenside Public Library parking lot. The ride leaves at 6:00 pm. Scheduled for most Tuesday evenings throughout summer. Gently paced, post-work evening ride to pedal away the day's stresses, suited for novice riders, newcomers to the area, and/or anyone seeking a low-intensity recovery ride. Relaxed pace, peaceful roads in Eastern Montgomery Co. Please bring lights in case we are delayed on return. This Tuesday night ride meets every week throughout summer, weather permitting, unless there is another special club event in a different location (e.g., Member Appreciation Tailgate Social at a multi-group ride site). Toward end of season, this ride will meet earlier (5:45 or 5:30pm), due shorter evening daylight. Cue sheets will not be available.

    Level D: 10mph, 20 miles. Meet at Cosmic Cafe, Lloyd Hall, # 1 Boathouse Row, Kelly Dr, East Fairmount Park . The ride leaves at 9:00 am. In recognition of National Hispanic Heritage Month (Sept 15 - October 15, 2021) join us in a tour of Taller Puertorriqueño, "the cultural heart of Latino Philadelphia" Taller Puertorriqueño staff will lead us on guided tours of both an exhibition of the artwork of cultural worker Johnny Irizarry, AND the Fairhill neighborhood. Bring $9 cash to cover the cost of both tours (which will last approximately 60 minutes). After the tours we will enjoy "cafe o una comida" at one of Fairhill's Latino restaurants.     Level C- through D: 10-12mph, 15-30 miles. Meet at Flourtown Shopping Center. The ride leaves at 6:00 pm. Most summer Wednesday evenings, weather permitting. Gently paced, post-work ride to pedal away stresses, suited for novices, newcomers to area, and/or anyone seeking low-intensity recovery ride. Peaceful roads Eastern Montgomery Co, w/brief rest stop. Please bring lights. COVID: social distance (20 ft apart while riding, >6 ft apart when stopped). Please bring mask & hand sanitizer. Preregistration saves you writing time at start. If you sign-in at start, please use hand sanitizer. Meet in parking lot of Flourtown Shop Ctr Bethlehem Pike (McDonald's in front, facing the Pike). Once a month, this ride may need to meet earlier in the afternoon, due to BCP Board meeting in the evening. Cue sheets will not be available.

    Wed September 22, 2021 - Flourtown Regular Season (A-/B+ and B)

    Levels A-/B+: 17-18mph, B: 15.5-16.5mph, 25-40 miles. Meet at Flourtown Shopping Center. The ride leaves at 6:00 pm. Please join us for rides in Montgomery and Bucks counties. Ride distance will vary based on available daylight. Both groups will use the same route, just at slightly different speeds. We will not drop anyone, but please be sure that you are capable of maintaining the advertised average speed including some hill climbing. We are planning to maintain a group size of no more than 15 riders per group. We will post the ride route in advance for you to download to your device. Please RSVP. Rain at start time, or wet roads will cancel the ride. Our goal is to be back by sunset, but a taillight and headlight are recommended both early and late in the season given the shorter amount of daylight. This ride is a joint BCP/SCU ride. Cue sheets will not be available.

    Level C- through D: 10-11.5mph, 15-30 miles. Meet at Jacobs Engineering Parking Lot. The ride leaves at 6:00 pm. Gently paced, post-work evening ride to pedal away work stresses, suited for novices, newcomers to area, and/or anyone seeking low-intensity recovery ride. Meet in same parking lot as the "Multi-Level Conshohocken Rides". Start by riding on Schuylkill River Trail, and/or, Cross County Trail, which connects the Schuylkill w/Plymouth Meeting . As riders get stronger, we can turn off the trails and explore some pretty roads in the area. Please bring lights in case we return at dark. COVID PRECAUTIONS in EFFECT. Please bring masks and hand sanitizer. Cue sheets will not be available.

As the days lengthen, so does the ride and we should be nearing 35 miles by July. Bike lights are highly recommended. Please bring a mask for when off the bike and review Club rules for COVID-19.     Sat September 25, 2021 - Atlantic City

    Level D: 10mph, 75 miles. Meet at Azalea Garden's formal entrance, behind the Art Museum. The ride leaves at 8:00 am. This is a "D" pace but "B" distance over a flat route. End of the cycling season for some, so those some come ride the distance that you are capable of doing with all the cycling you have been doing all Summer. It is a straight shot to the Atlantic Ocean with a coffee stop in Haddon Heights, lunch in Hammonton and Pizza on the boardwalk. We will use a late afternoon or early evening NJTRANSIT train back to Philadelphia. This is an all day ride. May not be back to 30th Street Amtrak Station until 8pm. If KYW is reporting rain outside their studio one hour prior to start, ride cancels. Cue sheets will not be available.
