Rain or Shine

Thank you to the nearly 700 cyclists who braved the forecast and rode The Scenic Schuylkill Century, plus the over 100 terrific volunteers, bike shops (REI, Keswick Cycle, Bike Sport and Cadence) and rest stop providers (Cedar Grove, Evansburg, Grace Assembly Church and Valley Forge) who were instrumental to our success.

If you rode the SSC, we are very interested in hearing what you have to say. Please take our survey ( its quick) and tell us what went well, not so well, and give us your specific comments and suggestions. To take the survey, please click on the link below. Click Here to take survey

Welcome to our award winning Scenic Schuylkill Century. Join 1,000 fellow cyclists for a picturesque tour through some of the most beautiful and quiet roads Montgomery and Chester Counties have to offer, cycling through historic areas made famous during the American Revolution such as Ft. Washington State Park, Lafayette Hill and Valley Forge.

Routes and Amenities

Whether you are an avid or recreational cyclist, we have a route for you. Ride our 25 or 38 mile route, or challenge yourself with our metric (65 miles) or full century (100 miles) route. We offer a breakfast at the start, four rest stops featuring cold drinks and homemade baked goods, mechanical support, and SAG wagons. To top it off, we have a pizza bash at the finish.

Philadelphia Cycling Weekend

Maybe the Scenic Schuylkill Century is not enough cycling for you. Perhaps you want to ride one of our challenging routes on Saturday plus an easier route with the family on Sunday. Make it a Philadelphia Cycling Weekend by also participating in the Commerce Bank Bike Philly ride on Sunday, September 14.

Volunteers Needed

Want to help out?  This event runs on "people power" and it requires the effort of many folks to make it a success. Want to ride and volunteer? There are many tasks that occur prior to the day of the ride, or early in the day of the ride that leave plenty of time to go on the ride.
